Delphine, can you introduce yourself?
Delphine
I am a manner designer. I was born in the United States and I grew up in Paris. I've loved fashion since I was very young. I was first passionate about the photographers, and and so I started to link my love for manual work to my interests. So, I accept started making clothes and bags when I had costless time since my adolescence. I come from a family where xc% of the members are artists (painting, movie theater, etc.). Today, and after having designed handbags for v years, I included ready-to-wear in my collections. How would you define the spirit of your new collection?

Again, it's a mix of everything I love doing: working with my hands, handmade and artisanal appurtenances. I've always thought that an object, a cloth or a pocketbook has a stronger identity when we know where information technology comes from, where it has been made and when nosotros know its story from its birth to the sale. So I e'er design while think most this, with a thematic I love for every season. I'm a real leather lover, whether it's for a handbag or a cloth, and even on a piece of furniture. It depends on the occasion. To go out, I like the velvet dresses from winter 2017 with a little bag nosotros agree with the hand or by a handle like a minaudière. I have always been a total fan of black. That said, for next summer, I desire stake colours (pink, light grey, beige).
What would the object of your craziest dreams?
Delphine
A Venetian mirror table who is at my parents' identify in the dining room. It's completely battered and brightened, but it is what makes its dazzler. In your apartment, where do you spend the most of you time?
Delphine
On the table, since information technology'southward where I put all my stuff. I piece of work a lot at home as well. And it's also where we eat, do Camille'south homework and, when I have friends home, it'south the table effectually which anybody naturally sits.

What inspires you in your work? An iconic woman? A period?
Delphine
I'yard fascinated by women with a strong personality and who succeed in imposing who they are in a modern way, in their time. Liberty and independence of women bear upon me a lot. The idea she can alive past herself and impose a mode without caring nearly what gild is going to think about her. Information technology goes from Françoise Sagan to Patti Smith and MIA. I like delivery of a women. And style comes with information technology. I'm interested in women who help others to feel more than free in their fourth dimension by being a model. The ones who don't intendance about the imposed codes.
What are your adjacent creative projects?
Delphine
I just started set up-to-vesture to go with my bags. I as well included capsules of shoes and jewels. So, the idea is more than to gear up this in in the long term rather than beginning something new. That said, I worked on a movie after having met Julien Bachelet (a director) and Irina Lazareanu (a model/vocalizer). The three of u.s.a. worked on information technology, it all went naturally and each of usa brought something strong and personal to the movie. I like the idea of working with people who bring their earth and personality. I like the idea of collaborative creations.
